If you have worked your way into making your cleaning business a successful one, you need to congratulate yourself for all the hardwork. By this time, you may even be dealing with big companies and even have them as your clients when you do a cleaning job. If you may be happy with the things are going, you should not stop here. You need to keep in mind that the business world is like a wheel, it goes on like a cycle and never stops. There will be times when you will stay on top and times when you will stay on the ground. This is why you should always remember to do everything to ensure loyalty of customers and even gain more clients.

When dealing with new customers, it is no way as simple as you think. Especially with bigger companies, the y usually require you and several other cleaning companies to pass a “bid packet” This will allow the companies to be able to view and review the services that you give as a cleaning company. They need to study each and every detail that is included in your cleaning services. This is why you should make a comprehensive and specific “bid packets” for them. It is not enough that you just list down all the services and the prices, they need to see an organized detailing of your service. This will create the impression that you are thinking of each and every detail when you have made that bid packet.

If you want to create an organized “bid packet”, here are some tips that will surely guarantee you that your “bid packet” will make it mark and eventually be the top choice of most companies.

A cover page is necessary when making your packet. This should include your company name and logo so that it will look like a professional proposal to them. It is required for you to address it to your client. It will be more proper if you put things like “Cleaning Proposal for (company name)”. This will make it look more professional and will immediately catch the attention of your potential client.

You need to put a little information about your cleaning company. It can be as short as possible but not too long that it may take too much time reading. Have them read a little about your history and make it a point to show that it is a unique business and give them a reason to believe why should they pick you. State is in the most subtle way that you will be able to solve any cleaning problems that they might have.

A Table of Contents should be placed in your proposal. This saves the hassle from flipping all the pages of the proposal just to find the pages where you put this certain cleaning service or so. This can immediately put a good impression on you since you are organized in making your proposal, they might instantly like you.

Including a Cover Letter for your proposal is highly recommended for you to do. This should include a short and concise introduction of the proposal, duration of service, price and counting of days of bid. This will make it clearer for them what you are proposing in just a short letter. This will more or else give them an idea if they will approve of your proposal or not. Do not forget to thank them for even considering you as one of their choices as their cleaning company.

The most important part of your proposal is the list of services. You need to provide them with a complete list of cleaning services and packages. Include the services that are included in each cleaning package and have the prices on the other side. This will make it easier for them to have a run through of the services that you have so that they can make a decision which services apply to them. If they want certain cleaning service to be done, make sure that you are as flexible as possible as to accommodate their requests. Remember that a cleaning business works to satisfy your customers and not vice versa.

Lastly, include the contract they will sign if they approve of your proposal. This can be as short as one page but can reach to 2 pages. This should be professionally stated but as simple as possible. This will be used as future reference so you need to be very specific in this so that when problems arise, you will have a reference. Things which you need to include are the payment terms, effectivity of contract and its duration, start of the cleaning service, termination of contract and settlement agreements. This will make it easier for both parties to conduct business so make sure that this has been constructed very well.

You need to have a list of references preferably customers. Ask them first of it is okay to put in their contact details and might receive a call from your clients. If they approve then you can place them there. These are the people whom the companies can call to ask if you really provide the best cleaning services. This can really help since you are able to put in people who are actually satisfied with the cleaning job that you are doing for them.

With these in mind, it is now easier for you to make your “bid packets”. You do not need to worry too much about making it as effective as possible. You just need to remember these things and really take the time to plan out your bid packets. Look at how it can easily get your more customers to sign up for your cleaning company. You will be amazed at how your profits will begin increasing as you take in more customers by the day.
