When gas prices go up again or when the prices of cleaning supplies climb, you can be sure that your profit margin will be adversely affected. When your competitors try to slash their prices to keep clients or attract new ones, you will be forced to follow in order for you to survive but in the process, you have cut down even more your profit margin. Remember that you cannot keep your business going if no profit is coming in.
