Planning Your Daily Cleaning Service

When your cleaning business has already gained a good reputation, clients start flowing in each day and your profits would also start to increase. But with more clients coming in, you will now need time management to address all the needs and concerns of your clients. You have to see to it that you still maintain the same quality in cleaning your client’s offices or home. Remember that your satisfied clients already advertise your good service and when a new customer reports any complaints about your performance, whether true or not, you would lose that customer and his friends as well.

The following are some tips on making plans for your day:

Always answer all phone calls – In case you failed to answer any phone calls, check the answering machine and voice messages. There might be some clients who cancelled or moved his schedule. Always check your list of appointments and inform your client whether you are available or not in case he requested a different day or time of cleaning. If you are available on the schedule requested, confirm that you can make it but give him a note that moving a schedule is not encouraged. In case you are unavailable, explain politely that somebody already had taken that schedule. You may offer your open dates for his option.

Always keep your book of schedules with you – You have to always jot down your appointments in your schedule book and always bring it with you at all times. Any unwritten schedule is hard to remember and you might miss other appointments. It is also easy to offer open dates when your list is accessible.

Take a break after every cleaning schedule – Of course you need to take your rest after every cleaning. Be sure that your break time is enough including the allowance for travel time going to another client. This is for you to avoid being late in your appointments.

Arrange the location of your cleaning schedule – If possible, arrange your schedule in such a way that they are accessible or close to one another because this would give you ample time to rest. You can ask for their exact and complete address or for the directions going to their place. Any landmark is also a great help. These would lessen your time in locating your client’s home or office. And in that way, you can have more time to rest

You can avoid losing your clients if you have an organized schedule of cleaning activities. This is essential for the success of your cleaning business and to be known in the industry.
