How could someone really know what to charge for his service? In service industry, it is really hard to determine the right price that can be allocated to a specific labor or service. Since labor is an intangible commodity, one cannot really decide upon the pricing of the cost of labor hastily. But despite of that, labor pricing can still be understood even one step at a time, and so is the case for designating fees for cleaning services.

Pricing your Cleaning services comes with practice – in your own home that is. Practicing your cleaning skills at home is advantageous in a lot of ways. For instance, you can correctly list down how much time you need to finish clean up tasks that you will be offering to your clients. Aside from that, you can also make a list of how much cleaning products you will be using up for a single cleaning. Additionally, you can create a detailed list of the chores you need to offer. In any service business, the right pricing may be hard to achieve at first because there are no products to speak off. In fact, you are pricing the cost of your labor and this is a precious commodity. However, simple research can actually be a big help in this task. Designating a fee for your services need not be perfect, an educated guess would suffice. You will have time to correct it later on when you start calling for cleaning service bids.
